Within mesa training, you will create your own sacred mesa. With each direction of the medicine wheel, you will add 3 stones to you mesa, with a 13th gifted to you during the Mesa training. These are not merely stones, but talismans representing a wound that has been transmuted into wisdom and courage. These khuyas will later become the tools of your practice, used to guide others toward their own healing.
What is a Shaman's Mesa?
The word "mesa" means "table" in Spanish, but in shamanic traditions, it refers to a sacred, portable altar or medicine bundle. It's a high plateau where the shaman meets with spirits for healing, ceremony, prayer, and divination. The contents of a mesa are deeply personal. They include sacred stones, power objects, and artifacts that represent a shaman's unique healing journey.
